On August 2nd, 2016 at 11:55pm, officers of the Hooksett Police Department responded to multiple reports of a motor vehicle crash on Zapora Dr. near the entrance to Space Center. When officers arrived, they observed a guardrail that had been damaged by a motor vehicle and located a damaged New Hampshire license plate lying on the roadway. Officer’s located the suspected vehicle disabled on top of a rock, off of the travel portion of the roadway at the intersection to Zapora Dr. and Springwood Dr. The operator of the vehicle was identified as:

Justin Norton, 31

Hooksett, NH

While speaking with Norton, it became apparent that he was under the influence of alcohol. Norton refused to perform standardized field sobriety tests and was subsequently placed under arrest without incident for driving while intoxicated and conduct after an accident. Norton was not injured in the crash and he was transported to the Hooksett Police Department. Norton refused a breath test at the Hooksett Police Department and was released on $2,500.00 personal recognizance bail. Norton is scheduled to appear before the 6th Circuit Court in Hooksett on August 9th, 2016.
